We were out last week in mid-September and boated 17 largemouth on alligator alley in about 5 hours up to 5 1/2 lbs. All the bass were caught on plastic type baits and down deeper than normal. The Florida Everglades bass fishing at this time of year can be tougher than spring so you have to work for them. South Florida has so many canals, small lakes and the famous Lake Okeechobee for year round largemouth bass fishing.
